A few fish were caught today...Mostly blues. However team Mullet brought in a bass, Ray's weighed 15-4 in Brant on Bunker. John Parzych beached a Blue at 12-8 same place, same bait. Jeffrey Nuel waited till the end of the tourney to finally put a fish on the boards. 10-8 bluefish caught in North Beach on Bunker.

Kudos to ALL in the Ship Bottom Christmas Parade! Not good weather to be in a parade, but they pulled it off!!!! My Favorite Float was Joey's Pizza, THEY GAVE OUT FREE PIZZA!!!! Candy is good, but Pizza is the better!

Oceanside B & T will be in the parade next year! The plan is already in the works! Don't miss it next year.

IN ONE WORD....EPPIC! It went off today! The day started off with a call from my friend at 4am.....Get up to the beach it's going off!!!!!! and pretty much from that point on EVERYBODY was deep into the fish! All my reports were between Brant and Holgate. Heavy bunker along the beach broke it open yesterday... Sand eels too up in the wash! The fish though that were cut up here all had WHOLE bunks in their bellies. Here are some pictures and some names....Sorry to those that I forgot ( in advance, haha don't yell at me!)

What a day!!!! Epic.... Oh and the call I got at 4am.... all those bass caught, which was about 50 between 6 anglers were all on plugs! Needles.

Courtland Foos - 10-8 got into the Big blues in Holgate.

Gregory O'Connell - Caught a nice 16-4 bass in Holgate. on Bunker.

Jim Finn - 9-13 Blue on bunker in Beach Haven Park

All shorts in the wash. If ya can get your bait pass the bar, you have good shot those big blues. I did hear of some nice size bass caught in Holgate. I just got in fresh Bunker and have plenty of clams, eels and chum!

Its Chris from the Chumbucket, I finally got a keeper down off pebble beach in Mystic Island. I caught him on a live eel fishing from the sodbanks. It was 32 inches and 11 lbs.

David Kern got his bass for the day at 7:30am on Bunker in Brant. Let's hope the rest of the day produces bass, things have been a tad slow.

Great day! From the surf big blues! A few bass mixed in not many though. A couple bass were picked up on in holgate on plugs. Stubby needles to be exact.

Brian Delpriora got another Striper for the Classic - 15-13, not that big but good for that day!

Bright and Early John Kurtz got a fish on the boards....Blue 9-11. Beach Haven Park on Bunker..Nice way to start your day! I think it's gonna be a good day for catchin! Sources tell me so!

Steve Warren weighed in a 11-12 Blue, caught in Brant Beach on Bunker.

Christian Martin brought in this bass early to the scale...he got it over in the wee hours of the morning. While he was pluggin under the meteor shower...cool.

Through out the day big blues were reported to me. Like these brought in by My Philly Boys! Steve Krammer and Chris Miller 9-5 and 11 pound blues. Caught along Brighton Beach Beaches..haha. on bunker.

Holgate opened too!!!!

Dante just returned from fishing in Freeport, Texas on the Party Boat ..."The Big E"...(check out the website...captelliotts.com) His total catch in 80 hours was as follows: 8 Yellowfin, 50 Blackfin, 1 Wahoo, 4 grouper 4 red snappers, 1 African Pompano and 2 Queen Triggers!!!!!! WOW. pictures coming soon. I am going next year for sure, so come shopping, I need to start saving now...

The beach is really improving and the blues seem to be feeding close to the beach,. only a couple of bass that I have heard of being caught.

Happy to see this bass!!!! Charles Hess of Vincentown, NJ caught this bass in Spray Beach on Bunker - 22-5.

Jeff got this 31.5" 9.0 lb blue before the storm hit in North Beach on bunker.

I'm so over these Nor'easters! The beach is so bad. Or should I say WHAT BEACH??? And you all know where the store is......Right in the heart of Floodville Center!!!!! Thats all I have to say about that! I do have plenty of Bunker and Lives Clames....Sunday looks good. The bunker are holding up well in a salt brine.

John Henson of Village Harbor Fishing Club brought in a 11lb 10oz bluefish to weigh into the tournament caught in ship bottom this morning. Great fish John!!!

Fish are being caught on an everday basis and there is a lot of bait in the water. This weekend looks very promising with warm temperatures in the high 60's. Everyone should get down and fish. Till then "Tight Lines" everyone.

Roy Supliki weighed in a 23lb bass for the tournament caught on bunker in Brant Beach, Don Adams Jr. weighed in a bass at 18lbs 8 oz also caught on Bunker, and Geroge Hawriluk weighed in a 15lb 5 oz bass also caught on bunker. Great job guys all were very nice fish!!!

Steve Philpot weighed in a big bluefish pulling the scale to 12lbs 1oz. on bunker in Beach Haven crest.

Michael Mitryk weighed in a very nice 19lb 4oz. bass caught on bunker in Holgate congrats on a nice fish just before sunset.

Jim Hill of Striped Bass Obsession hooked into a nice striper 24lbs 4oz during SBO's annual family fishing day. Big thanks to all of the guys and girls at SBO for making it a great day and we finally have gotten in Smitty plugs. Great to finally meet everyone!!!

John Tobini had a nice 9lb 4oz blue fish off of Ship Bottom Surf on Saturday, bait of choice was bunker congrats to John.

Blitzin in Brant - Friday Morning

David Kern brought this 17.1 Striper in early this morning (7am), caught on bunker in Brant Beach. Seems to be a blitz going on now. (9:30am).

George Krzykanowski - Landed these bookend Blues, Both 31inches.

Grant Bernard - One outta his 4 blues qualified for the Tourney, 32inches and 10pounds 6oz.

Rob Lyman - had a stellar day!!!!! Weighed in a 20-11 then came back with his trophy fish - 35-4. Nice Rob!

Ian Walker - Finally put down the surf board and weighed in this 18-4 bass! Nice Ian! 'bout time.

Really not too much to report - The bite really was slow all week...Even the guys who usually catch, were not. Blue fish were consistent though.

Couple bass were caught - Tom Law, Sr. weighed in a 15.14 Bass. The night bite produced a 35# bass for Dante that he released. Rob Lyman finally got his first bass for the season, 20#.
